Our firm’s philosophy regarding litigation is quite different from many firms in our area.  While their interest is in racking up billable hours and taking every case to trial, our interest is in resolving the matter by settlement as soon as possible and with the least amount of expense and exposure to our client.  Our attorneys are trained to pick up the phone and call opposing counsel as soon as they receive the referral of the legal matter with the intent of resolving all matters without incurring excessive litigation costs.  Every case must be viewed in terms of the cost of settlement versus the cost of litigation, the exposure to damages and the risk of negative publicity.  On the other hand, if a case cannot be settled then we are fully stocked with attorneys who have the expertise and pedigree to fight and litigate the case to the bitter end if necessary.
