Florence, KY 2/28/19 - Three new attorneys have joined Gerner & Kearns since the start of Q4 last year, bringing the total attorney count for the firm to twelve. Genevieve Campbell joined the firm's Litigation, Recovery and Collections practice group at the end October. Ashlee K. Satterfield started with the firm in December also in the Litigation, Recovery and Collections practice group. Melissa Whalen joined the Default Services practice group earlier this month.

Genevieve Campbell is licensed in Ohio. Prior to focusing her practice on collections, Genevieve focused her practice on commercial litigation and workers' compensation. Her background also includes foreclosures.
Ashlee Satterfield was licensed in Indiana in 2017. She earned a B.S. cum laude in Business Administration from Indiana Tech in 2014 and a J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney Schoolof Law in 2017. Prior to joining Gerner & Kearns Ashlee was a Deputy Prosecutor in Ripley County, Indiana focusing on crimes against women.
Melissa is the Lead Attorney for Ohio Litigation in the Default Services Practice Group. She comes to Gerner and Kearns with twenty years of experience in the area of creditor's rights. She practices in Ohio and Kentucky and is licensed in both state and federal district courts in both states. She has experience in foreclosure, bankruptcy, criminal forfeiture, title disputes, condemnation, and probate land sale proceedings.
